Why is Part 1 required first?

The techniques here operate on material Part 1 teaches you to generate. Without it you are decorating an idea you have not found yet.

How much writing will I actually do?

A lot. Roughly a quarter of the assessment is written workshops — rewriting weak openings, building juxtapositions, running a trust audit on a real draft.

Is 650 words really enough for all this?

Yes. Every technique here is built for that length — compression is the discipline, not a limitation.

What is a trust audit?

A targeted revision pass that finds every sentence where you explained something you had already implied. It is usually where the weakest 20% of a draft lives.
